Responsibilities

A non-profit membership association providing training, education, and certification programs throughout California and Nevada has an immediate opening for a Membership and Marketing Specialist. This position is responsible for enhancing and executing the organization's marketing plans and campaigns; coordinating and maintaining all marketing and publications; maintaining the organization's website and marketing/membership databases; fulfillment of direct mail, fax broadcasts, and sales literature; and assisting the Event and Marketing Manager with the planning and execution of all the organization's conferences, symposia, extravaganzas, etc. This position sits on one or more committees. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have proven excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills and be able to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to interact and collaborate with a diverse workforce made up of volunteers and staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is a must. B. A. plus a minimum of 2 years of experience or 5-6 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Water utility/industry experience is a plus.
